I am Dr.Cristina Giorgio Gemelli ,I graduated in Medicine from La Sapienza University in Rome with clinical experience at Policlinico Umberto Primo. I obtained a specialization in Psychiatry from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, with practical training at Policlinico Agostino Gemelli.

I had the opportunity to enhance my professional and educational background by working at George Washington Hospital in Washington DC, in the psychiatric field. This experience allowed me to gain an international perspective and to engage with different methodologies and approaches in mental health.

Furthermore, I had the privilege of practicing my profession both in Rome and in the United States in private settings. This allowed me to further deepen my skills and collaborate with a variety of patients from different cultural and social backgrounds.

My education and international experience have provided me with a broad and detailed view of psychiatry and psychotherapy, enabling me to offer comprehensive and personalized treatment to my patients.

Part of my career has been dedicated to scientific research and knowledge. I have written several articles on mental disorders, focusing on autism and schizophrenia. Through these publications, I have sought to disseminate accurate and up-to-date information on the causes, symptoms, and available therapies for these conditions, in order to raise awareness and promote greater understanding and acceptance.

In addition to my research experience, I have collaborated with private facilities specializing in managing withdrawal symptoms in substance dependencies. I have worked closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to patients who wish to overcome their dependencies, offering accurate assessment, symptom management, and personalized treatment plans.

My diverse professional experience has allowed me to acquire in-depth knowledge of various mental pathologies and to develop specialized skills in symptom management and treatment for patients with different needs.
